Born Kristine Bernadette, Miss Kitty discovered her love for beauty products and practices early on as she grew up in a family of girls. Despite her dad being in uniformed service in the Philippines, he doted on Miss Kitty and her sisters, and supported her passion for all things beauty: makeup, skin, and hair.

Growing up, she channeled this love into activities that allowed her to indulge in beauty products: local pageants became a favorite, and she also became a part-time model well into her college days. After graduating college with a degree in Broadcasting Communications, Miss Kitty’s charisma, smarts, charm, and ability to make people gravitate towards her soon led her into the arms of the equally charismatic, smart, and charming Mr. Aljune, who proudly serves in the US army, and they soon found themselves as husband and wife living in the States.

Dabbling in other fields of work during the beginning of her stay in a new country, Miss Kitty found herself still going back to what she loved: looking and feeling beautiful, and helping others to feel the same. She turned that dream into action, and with the support of Mr. Aljune and their loved ones, she soon earned her esthetician license and put up what she always dreamed of: a place where everyone could come to feel beautiful, and BrowQueen was birthed.

BrowQueen started off by offering the titular eyebrow shaping, microblading (hence BrowQueen’s famous semi-permanent makeup), and tinting; and afterward it snowballed to have the present services and amazing people on the team that it has now. She is also not one for gatekeeping her knowledge and stopping others from getting into the beauty industry, as the BrowQueen Academy is always opening its doors to those with the passion and drive to
learn, and want to see the whole course through.

Miss Kitty’s dream has taken shape, but she’s not done dreaming yet: the ultimate goal is for BrowQueen to have a hand in making women, men, and everyone in between feel empowered about their looks and have their best appearance, and knowing Miss Kitty, she’s on her way to achieving that vision.
